Not so friendly staff!

Fairly clean place to stay with super friendly and outstandingly accommodating staff. Excellent food for lovely breakfast. Great and stunning position in the lovely historic area, just next door to in Al fahidi at a round a bout. A unique hotel, my first choice in Dubai.

Extremely pleasant rooms come with complimentary water, every comfort plus a large bathroom. The staff are supper friendly and outstandingly accommodating, and the owner too. It has marvellous, stunning setting, close enough to the creek, the markets and the Dubai museum and the water front. Also, Dubai Museum is at a medium distance from the hotel.

Simply no complains at all, really enjoyable stay. Clean property with hospitable and sincere staff. Absolutely fantastic and enjoyable breakfast for vegetarians. All in all particularly good and amazing setting just next door to the lovely historic area of Bur Dubai and charming local shops and educational groups. Nearby La Terrasse Bar & Terrace - great place to chill out...

The staff are competent and truly outstanding. The units are tastefully decorated, extremely pleasant with every comfort.

Competent staff and good old and modern place. Amazing food and cold drinks. Well-equipped and themed rooms with nice decoration. Stunning and magnificent location just close to Meena Bazaar.

As backpackers, we loved the laid-back atmosphere and beautiful courtyards with old trees for shade. The XVA cafe served delicious food and had a great ambiance. The location in old Dubai offered a unique experience away from the glitzy downtown. Easy access to ferries for exploring the souks. The Arabian Teahouse nearby was also fantastic.

Great location in the older part of Dubai. Comfortable and very well priced

No airconditioned areas except room. Public areas / courtyard traditional and hot as temperatures were in excess of 45 degrees every day. Room very cool but airconditioner very noisy. This hotel Would be much more comfortable at cooler time of year when not so impacted by extreme heat.
